the Inspiration

Ever since we were little kids, we have been completely enthralled
in epic mythology, whether it was an afternoon spent in the
woods hacking down bushes with wooden swords, or building
our own mini castles out of cinder blocks in the back yard,
we have always been in love with those other worlds and times
that authors and poets like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis
told so well. Even though we are older we still try to hold
that wild adventurous spirit in our hearts and are inspired
by it to craft swords that evoke those feelings we felt as
kids when reading those stories. But even more than just stories,
as we grew older we began to grasp the reasons why we were
so enthralled by them. Tolkien and Lewis were not only amazing
authors and poets, but they were also strong moral Godly Christian
men who poured their passions and ideas into their stories,
showing positive themes and strong morals that anyone could
learn from no matter what your beliefs. And old Anglo Saxon
poetry and the medieval romances we read as we got older held
truths about valor, honor, respect, and principle that are
rarely seen today.
Together all of these stories have shaped us growing up and
motivated us to live more honorably and in a God centered
way. The positive impact these stories have had on us is profound
and we use our love of them to fuel our creativity and use
it to motivate the work we do and why we do it.
To some a sword may be just that, a sword. But we hope that
when you view or hold one of our swords, you feel those wild
adventurous feelings, and are inspired to live not in violence,
hatred and revenge, but instead honor, respect, morality,
and love towards other human beings.
