AT LAST!!! The most obvious news is that the new and revised
site is up!
It still has much more in store and this is only the beginning
for the new MAD.
Keep a look out on what’s posted on the "Available"
page as many new pieces will be showing up and available for
sale. Please send feedback on what you think about the site!
I (David) am not a web designer... and thus I admit there
are flaws with the site. So I humbly ask that you be nitpicky
and tell us if you see anything that should be changed or
does not work.
We look forward to a good summer of forging away in the shop
and sharing our work with you!
God Bless

Sunday August 12th 2007:
Andy Davis and I (David DelaGardelle) just got back from
a week long trip to the beautiful Door County Wisconsin, where
we were fortunate enough to visit the workshop of Ric Furrer,
one of the most talented smiths in the states who specializes
in crafting everything from household décor and architecture,
and damascus and woots knives as well as historic swords.
He was kind enough to let us hang out with him in his shop
for 2 afternoons, where he helped us forge a tri layered billet
made up of alloy tool steel and 100 year old wrought iron
which we will be using for future projects. And showed us
his amazing method of forge welding damascus billets. We learned
so much and were so appreciative of him letting us visit!
Ric is an amazing Blacksmith/Bladesmith and one of the coolest
guys you will ever meet! So please support his work and check
out his site here.
And we have been putting everything we learned from Ric to
good use recently, so be on the lookout for a lot of new work
to be posted in the near future!
Take care & God Bless!
